Hmar Martyrs' Day

Hmar Martyrs'
- I pay my respect to the many who have died for my better tomorrow. It hurts as it may sometimes seem as tho in vain. They must be remembered, they must be respected as time goes by so slowly. Keep your heads up brothers and sisters, never give up the fight as we pray for a better tomorrow. May their soul rest in peace.

Justice For Nido

R.I.P Nido

Mother India, tell me what's going on.
The bloods flowing off my vein.
Can these be right?
One comes in and said, "oh boy! it's time to send you home".
and the next moment i'm on my way.
Maybe a few more years to Whazzup world !,
A few more rounds left for me and my buddies.
Can my hair color matter so much that i have to keep my life on the line for it?
Can or can not it point east, west, north or the south?
Does it ever occur to you that colors do not matter.
Are we less India for variation in our skin?
Above all are we all not human beings?
Capable to love and respect each other.
We all know so well that," One life is all we got".
From up here i shed my tears.
Along with my brothers long gone.
We pray for India.
For a brighter tomorrow.

R.I.P. Brother Nido Taniam
Peace be with the family and friends.

Baby Smile Illustration

Abstract Illustration- Baby Smile, with no regrets. Your smile some live for.

Quite long since the last update, anyhow today i am here posting an abstract concept.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator - making the shapes, curves (circles and rectangles)
Adobe Photoshop: giving colors and simply i prefer getting output from here.

The project is really fun to work with. At first i was a bit frustrated as things were tiny and confusing. But it goes on and yay !  It’s done. At college i was advice to work with my line quality and pressure control by my teacher during our Fundamental Class. So i start making strokes in various directions. I keep on doing the same and after sometime a thought come to me with a graphics visual with this kind of strokes and so i started making out on the paper and hence i started working it out in Photoshop at home. I decided the best way i can get multiple strokes is Ai. i use circles mostly, where i strike out which are unnecessary using Divide tool. So on, i started giving fill colors but I was not satisfied with the output i get from Ai and the next day which is today i export each layer and import them in Ps where i get what i wanted with the background i made using downloaded custom free brush. Also i made changes to some layers where i duplicate and reuse them in different position. And also i use the pen tool in Ps too like in when i decided the mouth to be curvy (previous idea was a rectangle) and many more.
I guess i have written quite a lot including unnecessary lines. I know. I just couldn't explain it much clearer, i guess it’s because it’s really simple.

#FinitusGraphe@2014

First Real Deal

It is great working experience taking up project for a big university like Pune University. I thank U Elizabeth Songate for the introduction, a chance given to me to show what I cud do and the opportunity she made for me. She approach me if I can make them brochure, certificate, bookmarks, banners and so many more even which I did not put up here. I will always remember this project and moment throughout my journey.

As a starter in this field of freelancing and while in the process of learning, I was nervous and kept saying to myself that what if it doesn't come out right?, what if I fail and made a bad reputation?. But somehow I manage to hold on to the faith that I can do this, I can prove myself to others I am made for this. You never know how happy I am after seeing the printouts and getting the approval that it wasn't that bad for a beginner from people close to me and from my teacher. Here I am, proudly presenting you some of the work I have been doing for University of Pune, Department of Sociology.

P.S: I gladly accept feedback and honest comments.

Brochure Project UoFN & JCP

So glad am i that i am able to start doing real time projects with real people. These two are one of the early brochure projects I've been working on, using #AdobeIllustrator.
