I'll Survive

I'LL SURVIVE

Here I am with my head held high,
locked to the sky.
And here you are trying hard,
bringing me to the ground.
But you know what???
I will never give up this fight.
I will ever keep on trying,
Till the end.
And i'll say, "Hey !"
I'm alright, I survive.
I'm alright, Baby I survive
My dreams are BIG and wild, sorry.
I just can't help it.
You can wake me up, But i will just keep on
Dreaming.
Coz you know what???
I will never give up this fight.
I will ever keep on trying,
Till the end.
And i'll say, "Hey !"
I'm alright, I survive.
I'm alright, Baby I survive.
Whatever troubles i am heading.
I know, I'll get along.
So, dont you ever worry.
I know I'll Survive.
Its true. I'll Survive.

Dreaming Of you, My Valentine

Dreaming of you, My Valentine by Immanuel L. Zote

Ten years or more from now,
I might depart for i do not know,
Neither do you.
Might i live to meet my soul mate, my valentine?
As for the moment blurred and indistinct, still you are.
Fervently and twitchy my life is spinning as such.
Yet i know you be the best gift of life,
You’d be the sweetest woman I know.
A loving mama, for our adoring children to be.
A fool i would be not to be thankful,
For each day of those lives i look upon.
Sometimes i imagine knowing you, maybe we’ve met i ought to recall.
But some are the times you are more unfamiliar to me.
I will love you so dearly, it’s true and i will be loved i dream.
Until that moment i will keep on dreaming,
Hoping to get a hold of you, on that very fine day i believe exist.
Till then my valentine, i wish you the best of your life.
When we thus meet it will thus be, grand.
As for now I’ll dream,
Dreaming of you, my valentine.

Justice For Nido

R.I.P Nido

Mother India, tell me what's going on.
The bloods flowing off my vein.
Can these be right?
One comes in and said, "oh boy! it's time to send you home".
and the next moment i'm on my way.
Maybe a few more years to Whazzup world !,
A few more rounds left for me and my buddies.
Can my hair color matter so much that i have to keep my life on the line for it?
Can or can not it point east, west, north or the south?
Does it ever occur to you that colors do not matter.
Are we less India for variation in our skin?
Above all are we all not human beings?
Capable to love and respect each other.
We all know so well that," One life is all we got".
From up here i shed my tears.
Along with my brothers long gone.
We pray for India.
For a brighter tomorrow.

R.I.P. Brother Nido Taniam
Peace be with the family and friends.

Regret's Of The Young

So it was, gone were the days.
“The young and the spontaneous”
A bizarre stage with fine illusions.
Tossed up and down with glimpse of forged happiness;
Enriched with glares of false dawn.
Few ought to notice fate in its state,
The bold and the confused being we chose to be.
That instant of the young, o that instant.
Can the clock ever be blemish?
It tiks and toks, so was young?
Tik toks, not tiks.
The art of regret,
“Haunting nightmares, take a break!”
“Come morning light”, regret begs for.
In them midst, I was there.
"Striving to reach you, dear", He says.
Lenient I chose to be,
All along I shone with radiant glow.
The young, look at the sky
Sing Me a blissful song.
Company I promise you,
Throughout the night.

The Canvas Life

Why do I live? I ask often.
My fervency to this obscure question,
Endless and strong.
Life as a canvas is the path I am on,
In my journey to find answers.
A pencil in each hand, liberated indeed.
Seize heed and express wisely for,
Jotting down isn’t hard, while the blot stays forever.
O brother, contain something to die for,
You’re content worth containing.
Live life living with joy,
For one canvas, one pretiosus canvas is all we got.
The answer comes only when,
When my canvas is no more;
Taken away from me,
By the mystery of the canvas
